What attire should I wear to my appointment?

While there is not a dress code at Peters Marketing Research (PMR), we ask that you dress in an appropriate manner. Casual/Business casual is acceptable.

Where is Peters Marketing Research located?

PMR is located in the Paragon Building at 12400 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur, Missouri 63141. While our physical address is on Olive Blvd., we are actually located in an office building behind Olive Blvd. Go south on Tempo Dr. and pass the Westgate strip mall. You will see our mirrored office building on your left. Click here for directions.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your interview’s actual start-time.

May I bring my child(ren) to my focus group, central location test, one-on-one interview, etc?

No. We do not provide child care, and we will need your full attention during the interview.

How much time does a study usually take?

Focus groups and one-on-one interviews often last between 60 and 120 minutes; central location tests between 30 and 90 minutes. Some projects involve more time or preparation than others. You will always be informed about the time prior to your commitment.

How much will I be paid to participate? Will I be given cash or a check?

Honorarium/Incentive amounts are typically paid by check. Payment amounts vary per project based on the study’s length of time, homework assignments, etc. You will know the project’s honorarium before you agree to participate.

Will I be paid if I am late?

If you are running late, please call to let us know (we may be able to accommodate you). However, we count on our participants to arrive 15 minutes early so, if you are later than the start time of your group, you may not be paid your incentive.

What are my responsibilities as a market research participant?

  • Do not agree to participate in a study if you can’t commit 100% to the date/time.
  • Please confirm your appointment via email or phone as soon as possible.
  • Arrive on time and be ready to participate.
  • Please do not send anyone in your place if you are unable to make it to your appointment.
  • If you must cancel your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible since we will have to find a study replacement.
  • Be truthful in your responses.

Can you tell me who your client is and/or who is sponsoring the research?

No. We rarely have permission to tell you which company or organization is sponsoring a research project. Often the client’s identity remains anonymous to ensure that your feedback is unbiased.

May I call PMR to inquire about upcoming studies?

Due to the various components that go into finding qualified respondents, we ask that you keep an eye out for our study emails.

May I forward your study emails to my friends/family members?

Unless otherwise noted, you may always pass our information on to others. The preliminary questionnaire link can be accessed by anyone you forward it to.

If I complete a preliminary questionnaire online, should I call PMR to see if I qualified?

We ask that respondents do not call to obtain their results. If your online responses meet the preliminary qualification criteria and, if there is still space in the study, you will receive a call from one of our representatives.

How do I sign up to be in your database and start receiving emails about upcoming projects?

Please click on the website’s “Join Our Database” icon where you will be prompted to give us your contact information.

What should I do if my contact, demographic, and/or household information changes?

Visit www.petersmktg.com and click on the “Join Our Database” icon. You can choose to “Update” your current information or call us at: (314) 542-5986 or (888) 620-2301.

I don’t live in the St. Louis area and/or I’m not a Missouri resident. Should I still join your database?

Yes. Though many of our studies take place in the St. Louis area, we also conduct nationwide studies that do not require an in-person visit.
